Lesson 5: Navigating the Global Dashboard

The Global Dashboard is the first thing you see when you log into Canvas. It provides shortcuts to your courses, groups, grades/gradebook, assignment, calendar, user settings, and help resources. No matter where you are in Canvas, these shortcuts will always be available at the top of your screen.

If there was one thing you should do to make your navigation more efficient, it would be to customize your Course drop-down menu so you can see only the courses that you are currently enrolled in as a teacher or student.
